At JOHN & JANE’S is Barre unique! We have created concepts ourselves and train our coaches conscientiously. In ever changing classes you will experience a progress with you, in which systematically and training concept efficiently legs, butt, belly and arms are worked out.
We offer three different Barre classes at SOULBASE, which all have the same goal but are different in their training concept. Barre combines dance elements from different styles with Yoga and Pilates exercises. At the same time the training has little to do with dancing. Effective exercises mostly at the barre train legs, buttocks, back and abdomen. Our trainers turn the workout into a full body workout from which you emerge with a smile.
It is best to try out all of them and then decide which one you like best, if you can decide at all…
Alternating with the Barre elements, HIT cardio units are added into the workout, which will get your heart rate up and burn calories fast, and give you the chance to really work out. So you’ll definitely need your towel!
At Strong Barre we use light weights such as dumbbells and kettlebells to intensify the barre exercises. Your muscles are trained narrow and defined.
Here, Barre elements are combined with those from classical ballet. Pointed feet and the correct posture of the arms during the exercises remind of dancing. But don’t forget your towel!
Your muscles are trained specifically and slim. No bulky muscle formation!
Every muscle group is used, but there is a strong focus on the legs, bottom and core.
With elements of Yoga, Pilates and dance elements, as well as cardio elements at Cardio Barre, it certainly won't be boring in our Barre classes!
Through controlled movements, some of which are minimal, such as pulses, you strengthen your posture, which counteracts tension, for example.
