Prenatal yoga is a style of yoga specially developed for pregnant women, which expectant mothers can follow from the 13th week of pregnancy.
Here expectant mothers learn special exercises in their yoga practice, which prepare them perfectly for the upcoming miracle with all its challenges. The mixture of gentle stretching, controlled breathing and mental focus in this 60-minute class offers a wide range of benefits for mums-to-be. This form of yoga gives strength to the muscles used during childbirth, focusing on the fitness and endurance of the back and pelvic floor muscles. The asanas, which are adapted for pregnancy, are designed to strengthen your endurance and mobility, coupled with relaxation and the practice of letting go and serenity. Physical issues such as nausea, headaches and lower back pain can be alleviated by this type of yoga.
We work with high quality equipment such as bolsters, blankets, blocks or meditation cushions, which we have available at beautiful JOHN & JANE’S SOULBASE. We create an atmosphere that will let you relax in this exciting time! Before or after the course you can exchange and chat with other expectant mothers in one of our comfortable lounges.
Of course, in the studio we pay strict attention to hygiene measures and distance rules. There is sufficient disinfectant available and our rooms are being cleaned properly after each class.
To get to know each other, the first class is free of charge.

After the birth of her first daughter, Flavia moved to Berlin with her husband after more than 10 years in London. She initially worked as a management consultant and project manager and two years later her second daughter was born there. Yoga was and has been her constant and faithful companion for many years, helping her to find, maintain and strengthen her inner balance again and again. In 2018 she decided to make yoga her profession. Since then, she has been teaching with her heart and a lot of passion.
The focus on pre- and postnatal yoga is very close to Flavia’s heart, as it has accompanied and protected her during and after her pregnancies. She would like to share and pass on these experiences. Her classes are about the interplay of breath and movement, with the aim of achieving more balance, presence and inner strength, which she then takes bit by bit from the mat into everyday life. Get to know Flavia in our SOULBASE! She is looking forward to meeting you!
